How do I arrange a tour of Peirce Farm?

How many guests can Peirce Farm accommodate?

The barn can comfortably accommodate 150 guests for a seated dinner. The mansion is perfect for smaller gatherings of up to 50 guests.


What is included in the rental fee?

On the day of your event, you will have access to the historic mansion, the barn and your choice of several outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour locations. Also included are tables, 150 dark wood Chiavari chairs for Reception, 150 white folding chairs for Ceremony, custom built rustic wooden bar in the barn and a whiskey barrel bar for Cocktail Hour, and strung café lights in the barn and on the terrace.


When can I schedule my ceremony rehearsal?

Included in your rental contract is an hour for your ceremony rehearsal. Please contact us about 6-8 weeks before your event to schedule your rehearsal.


Is parking available onsite?

We have parking for about 50 -55 cars.


Can our pets be a part of our ceremony?

Yes! We love it when couples involve their pets in their special day.


Are there places for the bridal party to get ready?

Yes, we have a two-room bridal suite with 2 full baths in the mansion. The library and parlor are also available for your bridal party to use.


Are there indoor ceremony options?

An outdoor ceremony is ideal for any guest count (up to 150), while the mansion can be used for smaller ceremonies (up to 50 guests).  In the case of inclement weather, larger ceremonies can be held in the barn, in front of the fireplace.


Is the Barn Air Conditioned and/or Heated?

Yes!  The barn has heat and central air to keep you and your guests comfortable all year long. 


What is required to reserve my date?

A 50% Deposit is required upon contract signing.  The remaining 50% is due 7 days prior to your wedding date.


Can I decorate the barn?

The barn may be decorated as you wish, but please - no nails, tacks, glue or anything that would put holes in any of the surfaces. Open-flame candles are permitted as long as they are enclosed in glass. No confetti of any kind, please. Sparklers are consid­ered fireworks and are therefore not permitted in Massachusetts.


When can I arrive at the property on the day of my event?

The property is yours from 8 am until midnight on the day of your event. This includes setup and breakdown time.
